A Roman sandstone altar dedicated to Jupiter Optimus Maximus (Best and Greatest) by one Valerius Maximus. On the top of the altar is a depression for a sacred fire. The front is inscribed with the dedication:

VALERI
MAXIM
VSLLM
Translation: "Sacred to Jupiter Best and Greatest. Valerius Maximus paid his vow, glad, willing, deservedly"
